Later he went on and received his bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in music performance at the University of Minnesota under the direction of Craig Kirchoff and Fernando Meza. From there he went on to McNally/Smith College of Music where he received his AA in production and recording. There he received certification in Pro Tools as well as recording experience with Digital Performer, Reason, Logic, Finale, Solid State Logic, Sony, Behringer, Universal Audio, Neumann, AKG, Audio Technica, Shure, Focusrite, Blue, and Trident. In 2001 he started Still Standing Records where he produced artists that went on to tour with Ja Rule and Ludacris. Jeremy also taught private lessons on guitar, bass, percussion, voice, and piano. For four years he worked for Groth Music in sales, managing 15+ school districts in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. His responsibilities included purchase orders, vendor relationships, delivery of music, instrument rentals and repairs. Jeremy also played drums and bass with Wandering Jack who opened for several bands including Back Porch Mary and Uncle Lucius. |
